Frederic Barault was born in Athens. He graduated from the School of Applied Arts in Hannover, Germany. He taught in Doksiadi’s School from 1965 till 1970. In 1973 he founded Barault Office, specializing in interior design and in exhibition stands design. He has produced a variety of works such as houses, exhibition stands, offices, commercial places, and hotels. His most important works include the offices of Japanese Airlines, Mobil Oil, Ioniki Ksenodoxiaki, Toyota Hellas, the network of the representatives of Peugeot and Toyota and the exhibition stands of Toyota, Skoda, Kosmocar, Fiat and Emporiki Bank. In the meanwhile, since his student years, he is highly involved in painting, sculpture and engraving.
