Barault architects introduce a fusion of Scandinavian design, contemporary materiality and texture palette in order to completely redefine the interiors of a flat located at the center of Athens. The intense focus in detailing and the bold choice of materials and textures become the cornerstone of the synthetic process. The neutral surface colours with the light oak flooring create the ideal background so the breathtaking views and the carefully selected signature furniture items become the calm protagonist of the scenery. The timeless austere aesthetic of Scandinavian design along with mid century modern items are enriched through the use of several materials such as walnut veneers, a collection of Greek marbles, and the selective use of colors in several elements such as radiators, tiling and woodwork finishes.
